If this is the book you were referring to a little earlier, I by
chance just happened to have had mine handy, so I'd just checked.
None of the references for either the Galaxy-class project, the
class itself, or the ship proper, make any reference to its
disassembly. (I do admit that my copy is first edition ('94),
though; there may be a newer edition that I *don't* have ).
