HH> No. I've seen that one but it's not the ANLI. The ANLI is the big fat

I'll see if I can find this battery pack ad and let everyone know what
I am talking about. :)
I have a portable 12v battery pack that I have made using 2 12v
motorcycle batteries connected in parallel for use with a 12v ham
mobile transciever and laptop computer. It's awefully heavy, but
I only use it for field-stationary purposes. IE: staying in one place
but away from a/c power. They're sealed no-maintenence batteries,
and they allow me to use the radio at its full 50-watt output for
quite a while. I've had it up to 12 hours and haven't yet drawn
down the batteries.
I have another one that I made from a 12v riding-movwer battery that's
fairly light and carryable that I use to power a ham HT for extended
periods. You can carry it with a shoulder bag comfortably, but it's too
heavy to use on a belt. That one is a gell-cell.
