basically, opus 1.80 was bait to lure Doug out of hiding, Jon Morby was doing
a very good job of working out a test version of opus (1.80) When Doug told
bev he was coming back, All the 1.80 team members were uncerimoniously
dumped. And told to reapply for gamma testers for the "new opus" except of
course the trusted few. Doug either has lost interest again or gotten to busy
to continue. I think very good things could have came from 1.80, but Jon
agreed to stop when or was that to continue developement, I'm sure now it's
been atleast a year now. But anyway the same people have the code, The same
people play their silly top secret game. The same peole hold all the cards
and are keeping them close to the vest. Opus is now and has been at a stand
still and will stay that way it sadly seems.....
