It always pays to read the fine print disclaimer, assuming the advertiser is
honest enough to include one. Dr. Solomon, just like many other anti-virus
vendors, has been using "100% Wild List Detection" in their ads for years.
This isn't using TOO much snake oil in Dr. Solomon's case because they
actually detected 94% of Secure Computing's "Full Collection", but other
scanners which score 100% or close to 100% in the Wild List test make a VERY
poor showing in the "Full Collection" test.
Have a look at an Invircible ad if you want to see some REAL snake oil. Zvi
