subject: New lib format

Ciao Bo,

about :Re: Programming Language

I have spoken with an IBM programmer, who told me that the new library format
has been introduced in order to achieve better performances and to reduce the
amount of memory needed for the library. This new format is recognised, till
now, by VisualAge alone, but you're not constrained to use it.
If you want to link libraries compiled with VisualAge with code written with
some other compiler you just have to link via warp standard linker (link386)
and not via each compilers linker.

If you want full tech documentation, you just have to ask to IBM, and they
will send you all infos about their new format.

I also speak with a Watcom representative, and she told me to use the compiler
"#pragma aux" to instruct watcom compiler on my preferencies about name
mangling.
