Australia though has to be added. They brought their love of darker
english ¨beers with them. From memory, about 1/2 the tap beers at Kitty
O'sheas (nice ¨bar in Darwin) were dark ones. The only one I liked was a
middling one, called ¨a 'red beer' (between dark and light, with a slightly
reddish cast to it).
I settled on VB (Victoria Bitter) as my favorite tap beer there but there
were ¨several others I liked well enough.
