John, at 23:14 on Dec 25 1998, you wrote to Bill Grimsley... BG> I didn't think that there were any functional T-29s BG> left in existence, but clearly yours is the exception. Which is precisely where all T-29s belong IMO (but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know). The only good thing about the T-29 was its Japanese in-line (Toshiba) CRT, which was a major innovation, especially when other local manufacturers were still using old delta CRT technology. Pity about the rest of the set though (no offence, Bob). JT> It has come to my attention that the rats at the rubbish tip JT> are using the set to watch the Jerry Springer show. I happen to have it on good authority that they've actually been watching Pamela Anderson Lee in Baywatch (and that new show where she plays a PI (or whatever) but still flashes her tits. JT> They (the rats) also deny they had anything to do with the recent death of JT> Bob's cat. The rats are not telling you porkies - in fact, it was me! JT> Actually, this story is so good, that I'm likely to believe JT> it myself! You mean it isn't really true?
