It wasn't until Apex started the trend with their DVD players playing MP3
that it became any kind of selling point. My top-of-the line (at the time)
DVD player didn't play MP3s (but it does play SACDs-which, with the right
recordings and mastering, makes CDs sound like low-bitrate MP3's.)

BTW-when you play MP3's on these units-could you burn them on a DVD-R and
playe 'em, or is it limited to CD's only?
