You are correct, in 1966 they made the Dart slightly larger, put in the
318 (really a docile engine), but because of the more vechile weight and
barely more horsepower than the 65' GTS, 273, it just wasn't much it
brag about. In the 60's everybody was drawn to the 'Muscle Cars' the
small engine, high preformer was not in vauge.
