Hello All,
We are suffering continuing trouble since we upgraded to Delphi 3. It may be
due to our component library (which gave us no trouble in Delphi 2.0), it may
be because of serious bugs in Delphi 3, it may be in the configuration of
things. I would welcome any input on the matter.
After recompiling a package, the first attempt to compile my application will
result in an "internal error" compiler message. Hitting Ctrl-F9 once again
will "fix" this every time.
After recompiling a package, accessing properties which are components
through the object inspector will cause access violations. Some properties
can be lost or changed (!) at this point and have to be reset.
A TCustomDBGrid descendant does most often not accept focus. I click on it,
nothing. I switch to another application, switch back, and the grid I last
clicked on will have focus. Then it will respond to user input as usual. I
cannot however click on another grid to move the focus. I have to switch
again. Other programmers in my group using the same component do not have
this problem.
Weird stuff... Anyone?
Groeten, Martin.
