      Title: Bread And Butter Pudding
 Categories: Puddings
      Yield: 1 Batch

      4 sl Bread
  1 1/2 tb Butter
    100 ml Dates; chopped
    1/2 c  White sugar
      3    Eggs
  1 1/2 c  Milk
    3/4 ts Cinnamon powder
    3/4 ts Vanilla essence or vanilla
           -paste

  Tear the bread into pieces and spread out in an oven dish. Sprinkle
  the chopped dates onto the bread. Melt the butter and pour over the
  bread. Mix all other ingredients together and pour over the bread.
  Bake at 180øC/350øF for 35 minutes. The pudding will rise during
  baking, so ensure the dish is big enough.
