On 05-04-97 11:57 PAUL HENRY Says: PH> How big of an engine could you put in a 66 plymouth valiant? PH>Right now it has a slanted 6..... PH>... How long will a floating point operation float? PH>--- Ezycom V1.48g0 01fa0008 Any A block should fit as long as you use the 66 motor mounts. You might have to change the K member to a V8 style but don't quote me on this part. You could probably get away with a B/RB using elephant ears. It was either 66 or 67 when they widened the engine compartment on A bodies but I can't remember what year exactly. If you go with the big block, make sure to also beef up the rest of your drive line and rear end. If you want it for a daily driver, then personally I recommend the 318. You can run the heck out of these engines and they just keep going.
