We have been having a debate a in our flight department about what
the proper/official type of fire extinguisher should be carried in
an aircraft. The dry powder type leaves quite a mess and the Halon
extinguishers are going to be discontinued in the near future.
Does anyone know if there is an FAR covering this or have any info
as to the correct type?  Any input or comments would be appreciated.
