Jim, I posted in the memories echo asking about the lady and the
software that she used. The end here lists a few places that you might
check. I did look at the site given locally Man that stuff is
expensive!

Hay, I see Calgary in your line. Been there done that long story (G)
We had always hoped to be in a position to return. Great place!!

OK Guys, I got an email back from Everett, but it doesn't offer a
lot of info. He's still at the old Juno address.

Hi, Jim!

Yes, I remember, but what I remember will only point you in a direction.

The only program name I remember is Word Perfect. Lillian apparently
made extensive use of the advantages given her by the ability offered by
WP to set up and use macros. You may remember that she did a good bit of
writing for Lions Clubs in addition to her newspaper column and her work
with the local school system.

I never knew a name for the program that converted a text file to spoken
words. Lillian and I talked about this on several occasions but I was
never clear about a name. It was the program used by "school" she
attended for the training provided to her by the Lions Club.

My connection to Fidonet echoes have ranged from tenuous to non-existant
for several months so my reading of echoes has been spotty. It's nice to
see the Memories gang still hanging in there.
