Nope, that has nothing whatever to do with it. The Fido addressing
system has allowed for 3D addresses forever. Nothing to do with why
remaps are useful on a BBS which has points. Nothing.

You can consider it however you like. The whole point of remaps tho
is because the fido support for 4D addressing is less than perfect.
THATs why you have remaps.

Thats a completely different problem. Nothing whatever to do with the
fact that 4D addressing came later and that because it came later some
kludges are necessary even now.

Nope, absolutely nothing like the problem. The problem is that 4D
addressing came later. Support for it is currently less than total.
