I've sat down and though about this very hard.

I think it is fair to say that I misunderstood you in the first place, and
the whole Netmail comment got out of hand.

I have decided to make this a public area apology as I feel it is the most
appropriate way to do this.

I hereby apologise for my comments regarding Netmail and various OLR's
having mis-read and misunderstood the original argument.
I also withdraw any comments made by me against the character of Rod Gasson.
These were unfounded and unnecessary flames.
