                              CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT
                       CONTEMPLATED AGAINST STAR ELECTRONICS
                           ETOBICOKE, ONTARIO, CANADA
        FACTS:                                          (As at 20 May 1995)
        ------
       -  A Small Claims Court action is presently pending against
          a retailer, Star Electronics Limited.
       -  This civil action is a private prosecution of Misleading
          Advertising and Unfair Trade Practices (consumer) laws.
       -  The lawsuit centers around the defendant's advertised
          "Midnight Sale" activities.
       -  The action number is 7173/95.
       -  The lawsuit is asking for a large amount of punitive and
          exemplary damages as a deterence.
       -  The present plaintiff is looking for other parties who wish
          to join as co-plaintiffs, and convert this case into a
          class-action lawsuit.
       -  Class actions can be funded by a provincial fund.
          In such cases, it is possible that co-plaintiffs will not
          have to advance any monies, as costs are government funded,
          including covering the adverse party's legal costs.
