Hi Bob BL> If I promise to try ppoint, will you stop bothering me? BG> Keith's a bit like a broken record, isn't he! |-) Hey Bill - 4dos has a Windows command line version now!! BL> I'll get square. When I'm done with him, he'll never recommend BL> ppoint again. I'll install it, and give a blow-by-blow description of BL> everything that goes wrong (like I did with OS/2), and send him *all* BL> my old mail as if it is ppoint's fault. I'll cross-post everyone's BL> mail to keith! BL> What do I have to download besides ppoint? Binkley, Squish, and BL> all sorts of crap, I suppose. BG> No, just Ppoint and Binkley, and a nodelist would help BG> (optional). forget the nodelist for now - the instructions are in braille. But a vanilla ppoint install, with a vanilla bink install in the same subdir, should work first try. It did for me, and I typically loathe point software. The unsorted mail gets to be a pain, though, so you then install Paul Markham's excellent mail sorter (a meg or two of 386 xms may be needed) in the MAILER.BAT batch file that the ppoint install generates.
