  I meant translating one to the other. Bizarre is a good word for it.
I've actually got it working!

 I think the TinyPoint approach is the way to go: an OL*EDITOR* (not
reader), and qwk/pkt converters/joiners. You need separate zippers and
unzippers, so you may as well have separate qwk2pkt and pkt2qwk too.
Both formats are bizarre, so who cares which one you use for the
reader/editor? QWK is more popular, so you may as well use it, and
convert its output to pkt for point use.
