If it looks useful enough in its finished state I will likely extend it to include other modes. Since it is just the video buffer that is giving me trouble I zeroed in on your VioGetPhysBuf. With the exception of forming the pointer manually rather than through a macro it is essentially the same. So I now have 4 essentially identical pieces of code... yours, mine, the SVGA lib for EMX, and the mode X library. Mine is the only one I have tried using lately, but I will try building the others to test if they work.
