FM> You may have noticed that I called and failed several times today.

I rarely look at the BBS, so no I hadn't. I did notice you
hadn't replied recently though, because I always check to
see if you've upgraded to 2.22 yet like you said you were
going to do instead of sending random netmail messages.

FM> What happened was that after a certain point, problems happened. A
 FM> representative example was...

 FM> Bytes
 FM> Transferred Error Message
FM> 20,480 No error message, but a long delay (1-2 secs) sitting here
FM> 23,552 Data subpacket too long
 FM> 24,064 Bad data subpacket
 FM> 24,064 Error
FM> 24,064 Other errors, then freeze (until I hit abort)

FM> It wasn't always at that point, other examples were 31,744, 34,816, etc
FM> but it was always the same error messages.

I would like to think it was something specially set up for
users of PQWK 2.21, but there is no such thing. I do remember
yesterday I went into OS/2 and got an index in the PM Reference
and it took a long time to come back, and I noticed that data
stopped transmitting on the modem. However, that only happened
the once. I don't know what time that was either. There was
no-one calling around that time either, so I can't tell if
other people experienced the same problem. Anyway, I'm a PM
expert now so I don't expect to be looking at the index again,
so hopefully that will solve the problem. The funny thing is
that I run Binkley at the highest priority. We'll have to
wait I think. BFN. Paul.
