I don't think the lose more ground because of a higher speed. :)
There is a lot of folks buying USR because of 33.6k speed, and it seems
like ZyX never come to this, I have heard rumors about it but never seen
anything of it.
I can't understand why they don't release a soft for it.

Your opinion, I do understand it. I don't like USR either, but they have a
higher speed available and that's what people mostly look for. I know a
lot of folks around here in Sweden that uses USR Vi, and it works fine
for them, no wonder a lot of ZyX users are looking over the shoulder at
USR. I do understand them.
