I'm a big fan of hybrid SATA drives - they're a run-of-the-mill SATA drive 
with a huge flash RAM cache alongside. They start up like a plain ol' SATA, 
but once they cache what you're doing, they're great. I'd guess they're 
about halfway between the performance of a SATA and SSD - but at a fraction 
of the price of SSD.


... XT or AT, it makes a big difference.
