| subject: | DOS from Drive A: problem |
I've been having a problem with OS/2 Warp that I haven't been able to solve. I've been trying to get help from IBM since November 1994 but they just keep giving me generic help faxes that do not help at all. IBM has not been able to tell me what the problem is. I spoke with IBM several times and the tech person keeps telling me it's a 2.88 floppy problem but I keep telling them that I don't have a 2.88 floppy. It's a 1.44 floppy on drive A: and then IBM says it's not their problem. Has anyone else had this problem when using the "DOS from Drive A:" icon to boot DOS? It will not work on my system because of the following error it gives me. I have faxed this information to IBM but they still can not tell me what the problem is and rather me go to a 1-900 line. I did, and they still gave no solution or even know what the problem is. Any help from anyone would be appreciated, thanks!
