My female Ringneck does the same type of thing. She will latch onto you
with her beak but doesn't break the skin. It hurts but doesn't seem to be
meant as such. I thought of them as overeager love bites since the bird
is extremely affectionate.
I think that is great that the Ringneck is starting to talk & whistle.
Nice job you got there--taming birds in the Pet Store. How did you
get a job like that?
My husband loves our Ringneck so much that he bought a breeding pair!
I am very surprised that Ringnecks so uncommon here as pets.
