Thats the key, you don't need lots of current in a spark system.

Since your in the field, use a flyback transformer as an anology to the
spark plug system. HIGH voltage LOW Current. You do not need a significant
amount of current to get the desired result.
Another example, a VandeGraf(sp) generator, again, lots of sparks, very
little current. If you ground yourself, you'll feel it, but its not enough
to do you in.
