JP> Why'd you disconnect the magazine safety on your Browning?
Two reasons, one was a vain attempt to get a better trigger pull. Main
reason was if it became my carry gun, I did not want to be out of service
while changing magazines (or if I don't get the new mag seated, I'm SOL!).
I want it to go "bang" EVERY time I pull the trigger.
I'm kinda like you, my number 1 "middle of the night when the stuff is
flying and I don't have my glasses on" gun is an S & W k-frame. No levers
to mess with, no "is there one in the chamber" questions.
