As Valerie Murphy was saying to Wendy Apgar:
VM> I'm sure you know this but just incase you don't I'll post it anyway.
VM> Don't let the dentist use the novacain on you that they regularly use.
VM> It causes panic attacks. I have to use an alternative novacaine when
VM> I go to the dentist so that I won't have the panic attacks. I was so

VM> to the dentist and once I got the shot I'd spend the rest of the time

I wasn't aware of this. I seemed to do okay the last dentist
visit that I had since I took the Xanax (anti-panic meds)
before I went. It also helped a lot that I got in practically
as soon as I got there and didn't have to sit and think
about it. I think that is one of the reasons things went
as well as they did. I go back on Wednesday for my next
 visit.
VM> I hope you feel better soon. Keep on stamping though!! How do you
VM> incorporate your buttons into your stamping projects? I work in a
VM> Fabric and Craft store. We always have these large plastic jars of
VM> buttons on sale and I think of you every time I walk by them.
I use buttons for wheels and balloons. I also have used them
by tipping a rubber bag stamp upside down, using mounting
tape on it and then having it appear as if the buttons are
coming out of it. I also have buttons of a variety of
shapes, such as flowers. I have used small round buttons as
flowers by just adding a stamped pen. I have also used
a button as a sun by glueing the button over it. One thing
I did learn early on is not to use a hot glue gun on them
because they would fall off when they were sent through the
 mail.
VM> There are so many wonderful buttons out there today. There isn't
VM> anything you can't find on a button. From Rabbits to Rainbows. It is
VM> just amazing and so much fun to look at.
I went through my collection yesterday and again weeded
down the buttons that I wanted to save. When I began I
saved all of them. Now that isn't the case, although I
do use buttons in a lot of my crafts so they don't get
thrown away. I also know a couple of people who collect
buttons and I pass some buttons along to them.
