Several years ago, we went through this with our little dog when she was
a pup....jumped off the couch and broke her little elbow on the
tile...It was the weekend and all I could find was an emergency vet
place to stabilize until we could get the "real" guys involved...I could
have bought 25 dogs for what that costs us...

I do agree...After many years of breeding, (and my flock is pretty large
by any standard....)I have learned to do some of the less critical
things myself in order to keep my birds in peak health..
