If so, expect about 50 watts out continious, but for short duty it will
do around 400 watts on ssb or cw. I have been using one for several
years on ssb around 400 watts or beter out on 2 meters. Had one on 432
but it never did seem just right and I got rid of it because I wanted to
work the satalites around 435 and the weak signal stuff at 432.1. Just
too much tuning for that.
If it is just the tubes, treat them like a 4cx250b. They are just a
litle heaver on the plate side, like maybe around 300-350 watts.
The arrl handbook has an amp running at:
plate 2000 v 290 MA
Iddling plate current 90 MA
screen 18 ma 300 v
power in 580 watts
power out 340 watts
drive 6 watts
Eimac did have it on their web site. The amp from Fair Radio has two
other tubes listed for it also but I don't recall what they were.
