>>> Clarence Hogan on Circular Argument
WE> Oh, so that's why Jesus loves Christians.
CH> Yup, for did He not command us to love our enemies and would He
CH> do no less?
Oh? In his own memoirs he accounts some of his lapses from his
own commandments.
WE> It did? Naw, according to you it included human error.
CH> Yup, ever heard of the Garden of Eden? :)
Yup, Valhalla, Heaven, Nirvana, etc.
WE> "It could probably be shown by facts and figures that the only
WE> distinctly native American criminal class is Congress." -- Mark Twain
CH> Yup, did notice Mark having a heart to heart talk with you! :)
The old steamboat captain sure has a knack for blowing off steam when he
toots his whistle. -)
CH> Ya' know, I have heard Twain's stories all my life and have never
CH> read one of his books! I think I will read sum, if time ever
CH> permits, for he was indeed a wise man from what little I know of
CH> him!
Good idea. Let me know what you find. My childhood encyclopedia indicated
he lived from 1835 to 1910. Hm, I wonder if he's included in our 100 year
old Encyclopedic Britannica. Likely this guy is a neighbor of yours but he
going to be hard to track down. Where's Florida, Mo., his birthplace? And
the lively river town Hannibal, his boyhood town, where be that? Not even my
atlas will tell me. -)
... Mirvana, our place in space.
