RB>Success=wealth is the formula that is pushed on ever kid in America from

Nope. You've been reading the wrong books and listening to the wrong
voices. While wealth can certainly be a by product of success, it
doesn't necessarily have to be so. Wealth may be a dream, even an
obsession with some, but no one makes it an integral part of success
except those that are obsessed with it. It seems you fit into that
group.

>don't have to kill yourself at a backbreaking job.
Hey, some folks are perfectly happy at a backbreaking job. To those,
doing that job well, paying the mortgage, and raising a couple of kids
is success.
