Better check those pistons. Some (not all) have steel embedded inside
the skirt for stiffness. I found that out when I hauled eight 55 gallon 
drums full of used pistons from a machne shop that closed down. The 
clean pistons brought more than the ones with the steel skirts.
TIP
If you have access to a large vise, use a socket just smaller than the
pin, and a heavy wall pipe just larger than the pin. Tighten and it will 
press out. 
I made a pin press tool from a Cummins Diesel wrist pin. I trimmed a 
small section so it would clear the ring land area.
