Is 2.14 a much greater improvement over 2.10 that you are unwilling to
go back to 2.10? That might be your only option. IIRC, Teddy-Term was
discontinued.

A good RAMdisk for the ST/e is Mega*Matic, which is the only one I've
found that seems to work fine on _all_ ST's.
There is a nice RAMdisk out there that doesn't require a reboot to
install itself, but it only runs on the old ST's, and I've since
forgotten the name after moving to this STe. :(
You will then need a program such as "RAMCOPY.PRG" in your AUTO folder
_after_ your Ramdisk program. Or, if you have an STe, you can set
RAMCOPY to autorun from the desktop.
Both programs are shareware, and on many BBS's.
HD> Apart from The Chameleon,is there a way to load and unload

No "memory saving" way. There are other programs/OS's, such as
MultiDesk, that allow you to load and unload ACC's like any other
program, but they are pretty ram-hungry themselves.

I have found MS/DOS to format no better than the ST.
There is a formatter for the ST called "Floormat" that can format even
damaged disks, and mask out the bad sectors, but you really need a drive
with no problems to use it with much success. It *is* the most powerful
formatter on the ST, though.
Hope this helps. -*- Tom -*-
