--- Sez KENNETH ABRAMS to DAVID MARHEINE ---
KA> _Hard Goods_, which, incidentally, is the means by which
KA> I was introduced to Steeleye Span. So, I guess their Loss
KA> Leader idea worked.
WIBA in Madison used to play "English Folkie Music" on a semi-regular
basis in the mid to late 70's, making several Span and Fairport
fans among my friends...
I was going to rant about how crappy radio has become and MTV's
role in selling music, but I just don't have the energy right now.
KA> ... the opening note is right on the edge of
KA> the last chord of the preceding song, Kiss "Strutter". That, as a
KA> matter of fact, opens the side of the album containing "War Song".
With any luck, proper audio recording and editing tools for the
PC will become real affordable very soon... A gigabyte disk
should be able to hold 94 minutes of 16 bit 44.1 kHz stereo audio,
so it'd be nice to have digital technology finally supplant the old
razor blade edit for the home recordist... I still don't have a
proper segue of "Song Is Over" into "Pure And Easy" in my tape
collection... But my copy of "War Song" is on a 45!
DM
... Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?
