thats how i started programming - an sds-900, a fortran ref manual, lots

of paper tape, a desire to calculate my weekly wage under the space

tracking award, and lots of spare time.

yearh, i've got several tens of megabytes of dos "interface libraries",

all do part of the job but win/owl seem to do it all - if only it wasn't

so fucking complex to an old linear programmer. have you thought of

turbo-vision, it seems to do most things, and you can stay out of the

dreaded windows environment.
