Oh no.. Not even in your neck of the woods. They grow those hard
skinned unripe things to withstand shipping to the dummies up north who
actually eat them. Until August that is. I said that because my son,
who lived in Morgan City for several years, used to have ripe red and
juicy off the plants in his yard by April when I would visit.

A picture, maybe I can find one to send, but then I can't email flavor
can I. In my two occasions to live in apartment complexes, one had a
balcony where I planted a tomato in a pot. It got bugs and never did
bear fruit. At the other one, a ground fool unit, I planted next to
the patio in the ground and got about three tomatoes before someone
started swiping them on me. Sigh!!! Sometimes it just aint fair is
 it?
