So much water under the bridge: I agree Paul's actions or feelings on 
that stage were unlikely to have been caused by whatever prompted 
George to write WW so long ago.  For one thing, it's more likely he 
remembers the memories of that period better than he remembers the 
actual period itself, and those memories are by now mainly coloured 
by what he's said, by what others have said, and by what he wants to 
remember.  (And FWIW, the evidence we have from what was said *at the 
time*(!) suggests WW was specifically prompted by George's reaction 
to John and Yoko, although clearly he was fed up with the whole 
Beatles scene by then.)  

Mind you, I think what we see is also often coloured by what we 
expect to see: I discern no uneasiness in Paul's behaviour at the 
Concert for George myself.
