I think a problem is the word "ecumenical" as it could refer Christians
(and/or Christian churches) all around the world. In that  case,
bringing more harmony to the body of Christ would be a fine thing.  If
ecumenical is used to mean all religions, that is a horse of a
different color. In my opinion, to try to harmonize Christianity with
all other religions could run into big problems right quick.

There are no Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish, Shamanistic, and etc.
churches.  The word "churches" apply only to Christian groups.
