I'm firmly in your camp with this one, for another reason I hadn't
thought about. To add delete echoes, you'd have to bother the sysop to
forward them or not, wouldn't you?
Besides, I tag quite a few echoes, and one tops out the 300 message
limit on the board almost every day. If I was majorly concerned to
read every post, I would argue for a point, but it's still nothing a
dialing script couldn't fix either.
As it stands, my mail downloads are about a minute and a half long on
the large side, (Close to a thousand posts per day.) and as you know,
with an offline reader, it's VERY close to being a point anyway.
BTW, Cindy? Your mail is still sent or recieved. Never both at the
same exact time. Just like an OMR.
THe real economy comes with the login and navigation. As I use
scripting for this, by the time I return with a coffee, I'm ready to
read. ...Unless the line is busy or such.
