  ROFL! and it was even worse - that my second attempt. I sent 3
netmail to Brenton, two of which got trashed. So I sent them again,
and the only one that got through was the one I sent right the first
time! I got the other two back addressed to me! ROFL!!

  Fuck it! I gave up after that and talked to him in person.

  At least I can claim old age as an excuse for a brain that doesn't
work. What's *your* excuse?

  I've nearly finished my pensioner edition of qwk2pkt (I wrote it in
VB). It is *guaranteed* to send netmail. You just type "To:" anywhere,
and if there are a set of numbers after it in the right format, it
sends it netmail (even if you aren't in Netmail). If you *are* in
Netmail, but you forget the "To:" it looks up a names list and
addresses it correctly. The PVT tag is hardwired into the code, and if
everything else fails, it sends it to yourself so no one knows what a
fuckwit you are!

  I expect to sell millions! The problem is that my customers will
probably send the cheque to the wrong address.
