You seem to forget just what the Katana's specs are. This isn't a
"half-upgrade" like the Jag or even the N64; this thing makes the N64 and PSX
- combined - look weak. It's been my experience that gamers always go for
the hardware which gives a substantial improvement. They're doing that with
Voodoo 2 boards on the PC right now, and I imagine they'll do the same for
the Katana.

Got any proof for that? Most likely, no. And if what you say is true,
then how do you explain Alien vs. Predator, Tempest 2000 and a few others?
DM> What? There was like a total of

That much is probably true. If they'd come out with the Jag 6-12 months
earlier, it might have seemed rosier.
DM> It was released in the 16 bit reign. Nobody beat out the snes and the

I guess it's the same as it is with Microsoft and the PC industry right
now. It would take a team of geniuses to dislodge Microsoft's dominance in
the OS market, and so far few are visible.
The Neo Geo? Basically "The Arcade: Home Edition." That's all too true, I
think! It was basically the same hardware you'd find for Samurai Showdown &
Co. at the arcade back then. That was both a plus and a minus; while it was
certainly powerful, it was also really expensive!
