Yoo Hoo, Jennifer!
JS> Thus far, I have picked up _Birnbaum's Walt Disney World 1997_ and
JS> Fodor's _Walt Disney World for Adults_. I am open to other book
JS> titles....
Without question, the best of the guides is _The Unofficial Guide to
Disney World_. They have a later publication deadline than the others,
thus have more up-to-date information. I just happen to like it better,
too.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you attempt the high-speed touring
programs described in *any* of these guides. They are all based on the
premise that the major attractions are all there is to see there. In a
word: theyain't.
Even with your limited time at the Park, be sure to take some time for
the minor jewels: Discovery Island, canoeing on the canals of Fort
Wilderness, and the resorts themselves. (Notice please that I did *not*
include Fantasia Gardens in this list.)
Have a great time, and check with me in late October--I'll give you an
update based on my own visit in late September!
