subject: connect problems

About 5 minutes ago, ie at about 16:30, I noticed there was
no activity on the modem, whilst I was in Lotus 1-2-3. I
even switched to the BBS window, but my transmit light
wasn't on at all. Then I received some data from you, but
Binkley decided it was time to time you out.

1. Did you do anything strange from your end?

2. If you didn't, this means I have some serious problem
this end with regards to running PM programs. I wasn't
even doing anything in Lotus, it was just sitting there.

3. I now have the Hobbes CDROM if anyone needs anything
from it. I would make it available on the BBS except that
would mean I need to install Watcom on my hard disk, and
I don't really have the space to do that sort of thing.
I didn't notice a global index of files either, so you'll
even have to wait for that. It cost $50 from Hotline books
in Chatswood, who are really close to the start of the mall.
I bought it on the spur of the moment when getting an OS/2
PM programming book.

BFN. Paul.
