What I meant is that because there isn't a linux version yet, it is still a
very long way out! So the only possibility is to add it to the windows
version, and not just for "the time being"... ;-)

Possibly, but the details of the linux version aren't known yet, so I don't
know if it will share the source with the current windows version in that
part...
