Hello Janis. 20 Apr 05 00:55, you wrote to me: JK> I think there's disagreement from a few in Z2, to be honest.. JK> Sure it would be great if we updated policy but time has proven that JK> it's not necessary. What has either IC done to help Fidonet? What has the ZCC done for the last 10 years that resulted in us all being better off than we are now? IP nodes have been around for how many years now? Why are they not recognized by policy? Why is it that the topic of the day for the ZCC is "who gets to be the IC"? I believe this is a slap in the face to every node in Fido today. Whether they admit it or not, the coordinators at certain levels want to give the preception they have power and influence but the only thing they do is process the nodelist segment and fight amongst themselves. I say we either recognize them for what they are, nodelist clerks, and move on; or, start being productive. We see lots of bickering but no work. If as an employor, at the end of the day my employee says he (or she) has made no progress, and this continues for several years, it would be safe to assume they are sitting on their asses. So who among you will be the better man (person) and start taking us in the direction we should be rather than along partisan lines?
