It is normally null padded, unless it is 8 characters (the
maximum), in which case they don't pad it.  Seeing as it may
stuff up your software, I will use the 7-character version
that you sent me, tomorrow (after you receive this).  Could
Frank + Dieter send me 7-character passwords instead of 8,
