No person shall fail to heed a reasonable order of a police officer or
firefighter while such officer is in the discharge of an official duty in
maintaining the public safety or welfare.
This is just another example of an ordinance which would allow the
commandeering of a vehicle for police use. It actually allows a wide range of
required assistance. I thought you might find this interesting.
