Hello Ross,

I think I did.

We have a functioning waste reclaim system here. There is levy on all goods
that may involve a waste disposal problem. F.e. there is a EUR 10 levy on a
TV and EUR 25 on a refrigerator.

The flip side of the coin is that municipalities are compelled to accept
them for free and process them in a responsible way. So I dropped them at
the minicipal waste disposal site where they sort it out and process it
properly.

I expect the same to happen with the monitors I dumped.

That is why over here it is not left to private initiative but regulated by
law and under supervison of the authoriies.

Cheers, Michiel
