Event type is Error.

We still have some relic Windows 98 systems running, on some old
"tiny" = Compaq machines, that won't really support Win2000.

How about the dreaded WINS server? On an earlier message, setting up =
HOSTS files would be a pain, as all the machines have been setup as = DHCP,
even though I could take a few hours, and move them all to static. =
Not my idea of a fun weekend day.

An error or a warning? Two NICs trying to register the same =
NetBIOS name on the same network would have a conflict. Not all =
conflicts are errors though. I believe that a computer name conflict is =
an error.

If all your clients are Windows 2000 or later I think you can make =
the issue go away by disabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP but then you need to =
have DNS available for name resolution.
