An error or a warning? Two NICs trying to register the same =
NetBIOS name on the same network would have a conflict. Not all =
conflicts are errors though. I believe that a computer name conflict is =
an error.
If all your clients are Windows 2000 or later I think you can make =
the issue go away by disabling NetBIOS over TCP/IP but then you need to =
have DNS available for name resolution.

The Domain controller has Dual Nics in it, each with a separate IP =

10.1.1.6, 10.1.1.7 for increased bandwidth/connectivity. As you and =
I have
talked, this is presenting a problem in that there is an error =
showing up in
the System log, in that the server name shows up on both IP =
addresses, and
thinks there are two machines with the same name on the LAN. Anyone =
have a
fix/resolution for that one, or is there some other way to have 2 =
NIC's in
the same machine on the same lan that does not have this error?
